CNC Operator / Setter – £17.00 – £23.00p/h

Our client is one of the UK’s most established and reputable tier 1 suppliers to the Aerospace industry.

They require an experienced CNC operator / setter to join the team at Stansted, working within the CNC operations to ensure all output meets quality and technical requirements and timelines.

Main responsibilities and duties will include:-

• Where required, program machines in line with technical information provided
• Set up the tooling required to produce parts
• Carry out first offs to ensure parts meet quality and technical requirements specified
• Run product batches to technical requirements
• Check dimensions prior to passing for Inspection.

Desirable Experience:-

• Proven experience in a CNC Setter/Operator role using 3/4/5 axis machines
• Experience of Multi pallet.
• Heidenhain and Mazatrol experience is essential.
• Previous Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
• Must be able to program/set and operate machine
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Ability to use measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, bore micrometres etc.)
• Capable of using equipment for loading heavy billets.

39 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
